SolarLink / All-in-one enterprise edge ANPR

Enterprise ANPR at the edge, wherever the site needs it.

Run up to eight cameras from a pole or gantry with on-device detection, local rules, offline operation and managed synchronisation to Aero Ranger CORE.

From camera array to CORE

One managed edge system for the complete site.

SolarLink brings cameras, connectivity, telemetry, protected local data and field compute into the same managed edge platform used by CarLink. Detection and configured checks run at the site, while permitted events connect to CORE when a network path is available.

01

Design the camera array

Scope up to eight supported cameras around the pole or gantry, traffic direction, lanes and required fields of view.

02

Detect at the edge

ANPR, image handling and configured permit, vehicle-list or overstay checks run on the SolarLink edge system.

03

Operate through coverage gaps

Local hotlists and configured rules can continue when mobile coverage is unavailable, without a cloud round trip for each detection.

04

Synchronise with CORE

When connectivity is available, permitted events, alerts, evidence and device telemetry can synchronise with CORE for authorised review.

CarLink edge architecture

The same managed edge system, built for fixed infrastructure.

SolarLink uses the CarLink edge platform in a fixed enterprise deployment. Camera processing, local rules, diagnostics and operational data remain close to the site, with controlled synchronisation and support when connectivity is available.

Edge compute
Camera, ANPR, rule-checking and diagnostics workloads run on the unit instead of depending on a cloud round trip.
Offline operation
Configured hotlists and rules remain available locally through coverage gaps, with authorised records synchronised later.
Protected local data
Vehicle observations, evidence and operational data use controlled local and synchronisation workflows.
Fleet visibility
Teams can review health, connectivity, storage, software readiness and telemetry across deployed SolarLink units.

CORE Meshing

One rule map across every sighting source.

CORE Meshing uses configured operating zones and rules to connect relevant observations from SentryLink fixed cameras, CarLink vehicle systems, PatrolLink mobile capture, RackLink local CCTV ingest and SolarLink remote sites.

  1. Map each camera, patrol area and operating rule to the relevant CORE zone.
  2. Normalise permitted sighting data into a consistent event with source and time context.
  3. Correlate relevant multi-sighting activity across fixed, vehicle and mobile sources.
  4. Present the sequence for authorised human review before an operational outcome.

Procurement and governance

Remote deployment still needs a complete procurement and governance review.

Review the camera, solar and battery hardware, enclosure, communications equipment, firmware, data path, access controls and retention settings as one deployment. The SolarLink form factor does not by itself establish regulatory, procurement or site compliance.

Confirm site permissions, electrical and structural requirements, network coverage, privacy settings and current manufacturer declarations during deployment scoping.
